Far North Queensland artist Nina Lavarini Dawson takes inspiration from the natural environment – utilising native tropical plants to transform textiles through an eco dye method. Her one off textiles see seasonal environmental transformations captured across her range of scarves. The colour produced in each scarf is affected by a number of environmental and climate conditions – seeing a spectrum of colour produced.
