"Kamu sagu refers to playing with mangrove buds. As kids it was commonly used as toys for us to play with. Our mothers and aunties would tell us stories using these natural figurines while drawing in the sand. It was our time of bonding and sharing of knowledge. Our myths and legends were passed to us through this way of storytelling."
