"The title of this print is ‘Soft Reflections’. It is intended to evoke a phrase in Djabugay, a local Aboriginal language, the word I can’t use for cultural reasons. It is about clouds and mountains, as well as the rainbow in this particular design. When you think of the rainbow or the clouds, they can be very soft images. For example, looking back over at the mountains, the Bunda, it can be a very soft atmosphere. Observing the layering of colours in the morning, the day and in the evening produces a meditative state of mind and being. It is reflective of thinking about the good things, things that are uplifting. Those experiences we have that add positivity to our lives are deep and meaningful."
