“This one is called ‘Camp Fire’. You know when I was growing up, the campfire was where we would all come and sit after doing whatever we was doing through the day. We would sit down and yarn, sharing stories, passing on that knowledge and learning from our Elders and even from our younger people sitting there too. This one I love because it celebrates those moments of connection and the strong cultural ties that continue through generations but also it just brings me comfort. You know, the smell of smoke but not any smoke, the campfire smoke, like bush, brings back all those memories that smell.”
