“This one is called ‘Weaving’. For me weaving reminds me of growing up on Country and all the time that I spent with family, especially my mum and my grandmother. Weaving was a way of learning, listening and sharing stories. We would just sit down and while we did things weaving, painting or just spending time together we would tell stories and laugh. This work is about those memories and the knowledge that has been passed down through generations.”
