“Similar to my Campsite artwork this one is all about presence. This is called ‘Day out on Country’. You know when you family sing out to do something on the weekend, that’s what this memory is. Mum and my grandmother saying "lets go Weembal" or "let's get out, we going fishing". We would all pack what we needed for the day and head out on country for the day. Those days out on country are my favourite memories and even now, taking my grandchildren out bush for the day.”
