ARTIST: Carl Marun Fourmile is an initiated member of the Far North Queensland Waluparra clan of the Yidinji Nation and was raised in one of the largest Aboriginal communities in Australia, Yarrabah, located 40km south-east of Cairns. Carl spent a great deal of time growing up with his grandparents which allowed him to gain knowledge and practice his culture on a daily basis. Carl is a dancer, musician and story teller and celebrates the Yidinji culture of Far North Queensland in his performances and artwork.

ARTWORK STORY: This design is my great, great Grandfather's design. It represents the moth eggs and larvae.
