Jack Wilkie-Jans (Jack Jans) is an emerging multi-disciplinary artist, respected arts writer/worker and Aboriginal affairs advocate (being a qualified Politologist), based in Gimuy/Cairns, Queensland, Australia.
After 12 years in the contemporary Indigenous visual arts sector, in 2023 Jack launched his own consultancy practice: JWJ Consultancy; specialising in arts writing & review; policy guidance; governance and operational best, Cultural practice; and artist representation.
A Tribal Great-Grandson of Dr. Thancoupie Gloria Fletcher James AO, Jack is of mixed heritage (British, Danish, Vanuatuan, and Indigenous Australian – Waanyi, Teppathiggi and Tjungundji tribes).
