'Primordial Oceans'

The ongoing dialogue between makers and clay has a long history, one that is relevant today as it was in the beginning of time.  

For the making of the Primordial Oceans vessels the clay was compressed into shape, cut and then carved out exposing an internal space. The rock-solid surface containing within the fragile, bubbling nature alluding to the current state of affairs.
