'An object rolls out of a sand truck and catches the interest of a flock of ibis near a canefield. They peck at it and out hatches Crokee, lost and a long way from home. She goes in search of her mummy.'

Dr Sasi Victoire has been working in visual practice for forty years with regular exhibitions. She is also a printmaker, writer and educator. She has written two children’s books on the Intangible heritage of Cairns.
