"My work is an exploration and immersion into the coastal rainforests of the north. Communicating light, beauty, form and a crossing of the threshold of representation into an immersion and an experience. Space, form and light translate into a tactile and visual experience diving deep into the landscape. I see immersion as the threshold crossed. Transversing worlds, feeling and an invitation into an all encompassing experience. In practice I also find a sense of immersion, entering an encompassing space of pure and authentic making, creating from an inner connection and knowing, which is felt and learned, in and through the practice. I invite the viewer into this feeling of immersion through the senses, crossing the threshold as they share in the work, experiencing it as an experience."
