"When I was growing up in Yarrabah, we made our own fun on Country. We always used what was around us to make fun. One of our favourite things was using medicine vine as a skipping rope. Me, my sisters and cousins would spend hours playing together, laughing and making games. This painting reminds me of those happy childhood days, being outside, connected to nature and enjoying the simple things with family."
