"This triptych of works represents the reproductive cycle of the dugong. Puru Dhangal (2016) shows the dugong mating. Kazilayg (2016) shows the pregnant dugong during the gestation period. Finally Apu Kaazi (2016) shows the mother and calf. Sageraw Thonar is the breeding period for the dugong when they can rest and feed in shallow waters. The patterns in the prints refer to the feeding grounds and traditional hunting grounds. The Guthath current is represented in all the works, flowing south-east due to the wind in Sageraw Thonar.

Ithab il geth thonaral zagethal ngath ayminu dhangalaw danalayg ngapa midhakidh. Puru dhangal yakamka, dhangal puru sagul siyamaka urngu padanu. Ipika dhangalan burul guyuth wayamin gamziran. Kazilayg koey apu dhangal mapunga. Kaazi arayk maythanu. Kaziw amadhan adhay. Pisa gaanu, a id pa yoewdhayzinga malunu. Apuan ngadhalnga noera ayman, thugal ika balbalag pala kaziga ayka. Apu kaazi kaymel tadaumka. Apuan ngurpayk kaazi maluya tadayka, apiya anarayka a matha kedha dhamuka pudayka midha thonarnu. Kulisnu dhamul bal pilemka, dhangalal mamuy mina anarginga kuyku bubu koey wamenalnga. Guthathnu dhamul kadaka siyamik, dhangalal mina purthayk, mina anarimik. Itha mura mineral ngaw thathrzimal, thonar tidayzinga dhangalaw ayngu purthay doegam. Thana gathanu kasa tadimik a anarmik. Guthathaw minaral mura zageth iyab yakamzinga, wowraw thonar ika adhimin tidayzinga.
