Brian Robinson (born 1973) is a renowned Cairns-based Torres Strait Islander artist known for intricate printmaking, sculptures, and major public art installations. His work often blends traditional Maluyligal and Wuthathi cultural motifs with pop culture, mythology, and scientific themes.

Robinson is acclaimed for detailed linocuts and large-scale, often stainless steel, public sculptures. Robinson's work is held in major collections across Australia, including the National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria, National Museum of Australia and the Australian National Maritime Museum. He has held international residencies, including at the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection, and his work was featured on the running track of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Locally in Cairns, Robinson has created 2 of the city's most iconic public artworks, the Woven Fish in the Cairns Esplanade Lagoon, and Citizen's Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef also on the Esplanade, with its giant Stingray and swirling sea motifs.
