GARRY JILLETT | 'Knotted Wooden Bowl' | Spalted Quandong

Garry Jillett spent his early working life on his family grazing property in western Queensland. Some of the construction and maintenance work involved was building fences and stockyards. He believes that early experience is where he developed a love for working with wood. On his retirement, Jillett joined the Innisfail Woodworkers Guild and became fascinated with wood turning. He now does most of his work his from home workshop.
