NICOLE ELDER | 'Wave (IV)' | Ceramic

Nicole Elder has been based in Cairns for over 20 years. She first discovered ceramics by attending a beginners wheel throwing course at Cairns TAFE. Over the last few years she has continued her studies by attending further ceramic courses at TAFE to expand on her knowledge and skills. Nicole has mostly made functional pieces but also enjoys experimenting with distorting the forms. She enjoys spending time in nature and finds inspiration from the rainforests and beaches of the area.
